Showers/Thunderstorms:
When Showers and T-storms are in the forecast BE ADVISED:

1. WE check conditions/forecast at departure for OUR final decision. But YOU may OPT OUT at anytime with NO charge. (Forecasts can change rapidly overnight, or even hourly. Sometimes conditions don't match the forecast. Waiting til the last minute gives us the most current wx data.)
2. Conditions change minute by minute, and storms can pop up and fall out with no rhyme or reason to them. I look at the daily forecast percentage when warning ppl, for the day. Then I use the hourly forecast, radar, my observations, and my gut to help guide my final decision. I can be wrong in either direction.

3. No shelter on the boat or dock, if it rains you will get wet
4. We can't leave the dock with lightning in the area. If lightning while we are out, we try to come in ASAP (if we can).
5. We don't care about rain as operators, but lightning is dangerous and deadly. If you decide to cruise, you are assuming that risk. (I have been caught out in enough of these storms with nowhere to run, that if my gut tells me not to go, I'll cancel even if the sky is clear at departure)
6. Part of the trip we are 40 mins away from the dock, maybe longer if the wx is heavy.

7. We only have one "ditch out" spot other than our dock, that's at Memorial Park, where we can get you off the boat and into a covered pavilion. It's safer than being in the boat during a storm, but we don't always have the ability to get you a ride back to your car.
8. If we are out for more than 45 mins, we charge our full fee
9. Just because you endure the conditions, doesn't guarantee any sightings. We could get soaked, run in early and see no ponies, dolphin etc.

10. To reschedule, or book a back up just use our booking site and book a new date/time (it takes longer to text back and forth about what's available/when, and what fits your schedule. You can do it yourself in under a minute. Just let me know if I should cancel your trip.)

If you decide to opt out, plz text us back at the number we texted you the warning from. (DO NOT email us a cancellation, I only check our email once a day, at night when I get home from the dock. DO NOT call in a cancellation, I don't have time to answer the phone between operating the boat, and shooting out text messages .
